In 2013 we saw Micheal Nesmith reunite with the surviving Monkees. Now it’s been announced that this fall as well. he will be doing a solo tour in the United States as well. “The songs I’ll play are a touch chronological and a touch thematic. Cheap Trick Files Counter Lawsuit Against Former Drummer Bun E. Carlos

In late July we told you the story about how Bun E. Carlos is suing Cheap Trick for monies owed. Here’s that piece. Now they’re are counter suing. Here is a piece via Reuters News Service. Richard Nielsen, Thomas Peterson and Robin Zander have sued founding drummer Bun E. Carlos, asking a judge to confirm he was validly removed from the board of Cheap Trick Unlimited Inc and two other band-related corporations. The lawsuit filed on Friday in Delaware’s Court of Chancery, a venue more accustomed to high-stakes business spats, follows a July lawsuit by Carlos. Linda Ronstadt Suffering From Parkinson’s Disease

Now Ms. Ronstadt has gone public via a piece in AARP From AARP Blog Legendary singer Linda Ronstadt, 67, told AARP today that she “can’t sing a note” because she suffers from Parkinson’s disease. Diagnosed eight months ago, Ronstadt began to show symptoms as long as eight years ago. But she ascribed her inability to sing to a tick bite (“my health has never recovered since then”), and believed the shaking in her hands resulted from shoulder surgery.
