  Cat Stevens to Announce Tour It was just a one line statement on his facebook page this morning, June 21st, but Yusuf Cat Stevens has announced that he will be announcing a tour soon.  We’ll be updating this post when we have more information. If you’re curious as to what he performs these days let me share with you one of his last set lists for a live show. This set list was from 2011 at a venue in Stockholm, Sweden. The Replacements to play Riot Fest in Toronto, Chicago and Denver

The Replacements to play Riot Fest in Toronto, Chicago and Denver It started as a hot rumor today. Now it’s official. The Replacements will be playing all three Riot Fest concerts this fall. The Fests are August 24-25 in greater Toronto, September 13-15 in Chicago and September 21 and 22 in Denver Colorado. Riot Fest has already begun changing their posters to show the addition of The Replacements to the bill. We’re not sure exactly who will be playing along with Paul Westerberg and Tommy Stinson.   Ray Manzarek, Founding Member of The Doors, Passes Away at 74 Ray Manzarek, keyboardist and founding member of The Doors, passed away today at 12:31PM PT at the RoMed Clinic in Rosenheim, Germany after a lengthy battle with bile duct cancer. He was 74. At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by his wife Dorothy Manzarek, and his brothers Rick and James Manczarek. Manzarek is best known for his work with The Doors who formed in 1965 when Manzarek had a chance encounter on Venice Beach with poet Jim Morrison.   Saturday Night Live Says goodbye to Bill Hader, Fred Armisen and  Jason Sudeikis. It’s starting to turn into a tradition… last season’s finale was a musical number that said goodbye to fan-favorite Kristen Wiig. This year music again was used as a way of tipping the old chapeau to three additional favorites, Bill Hader, Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis.  Someone’s going to be wearing big shoes this fall. Paul McCartney returned to the stage tonight in Mineirão, Belo Horizonte, Brazil. It was his first show of 2013 and he pulled out some real gems.  He opened with “Eight Days A Week” he claimed it was only the second time that he has ever played it live. Another surprised was “Your Mother Should Know” which also was played by for the second time. It was never played by the Beatles. “Hi, Hi, Hi” hadn’t been played since 1976.
