Must have been great. Unfortunatley, my parents deemed me too young to go see the 1974 tour at Madison Square Garden in New York City. I finally go to see him at the same venue in 1976, 1978, 1980 on Broadway in "The Elephant Man," 1983, 1987, 1994 and 2004. Let's hope he decides to do one more tour...

Comment on A Review of The Beatles Vinyl Box Set by Christopher Louviere

I bought the box set in America. Three of the sixteen discs had problems. I deal with ONE vinyl online store and they happily replaced them with perfect copies. I am also buying each record individually to have another set for my kids so they will appreciate vinyl. About one of every four I purchase has skips and clicks. However, the shop replaces them with perfect copies without question. This is the advantage of dealing with one main record shop. I know there are different pressing plants and there are differences in quality. I'm not having the same problems others seem to have. The vinyl is quiet, the music has balls and sounds authentic with the exception of the added bass. The artwork is authentic to the originals. Perhaps my records are coming from the EU plants. They deal directly with EMI and don't go through a "middleman." I've been listening to The Beatles since I was a kid and I know all of the ins and outs of their sound. These records were not meant to replicate the old versions. They were meant to take a 1960s set of recordings and bring them into the 21rst Century. A little different? Yes! Do they sound great? Yes! Is it worth the price? Yes, especially with the book. Of course I would have preferred an all analogue remastering, but the day will come when that will be available. It will be yet another way of repackaging The Beatles' music and selling millions. Hopefully, everyone will have turntables again when that day comes.

This is directly from Greg Lake's Webmaster Eileen Craddock.

Greg Lake
Hello, this is Eileen; Keith is most certainly not singing lead on any of those songs. He admits himself that he has "athlete's voice" (people run when he sings). It's Greg Lake all the way. I don't even understand how someone could think it's a different person...?
