Mick Jagger to Host SNL on May 19th. Now We Know Who His Band(s) Will Be!

Hot off the press. The fine folks at Saturday Night Live have just announced that Mick Jagger will host this season’s finale on May 19th.  This will be Mick’s first time as official solo host. He has made several cameo appearances. I wonder if there will be any on this show by anyone we might know? The Rolling Stones have  performed on the show on three occasions.

He’s also listed as the musical guest. We have no idea who he’ll have in his band. We’ll be watching that’s for sure!

UPDATE!:

We now know who his band will be for the musical portion of the show. He’ll be performing with two bands actually. The Foo Fighters and Arcade Fire. Nice. More to come when we get it.

UPDATE: Jeff Beck has also been added to the proceedings. This should be good.
