I KNOW I'm forgetting something important to me, but this is my list for now. BTW, I've put NO stipulations on the what they can be. Live, Compilations, Box Sets etc. We do have a no-compilations rule for the Cool Album of the day, but not here.
(In No Order of Preference)

Heartsfield – The Wonder of it All
    Genesis – Seconds Out
Gram Parsons – The Complete Reprise Sessions
Little Feat – Waiting for Columbus
    John Prine - Live
The Band – The Last Waltz
    The Beatles – Revolver
NRBQ – God Bless Us All
    Poco – The Forgotten Trail
    Peter Gabriel – Plays Live

Some How, Some Way I’d have to figure a way to sneak on some ELP, Roxy Music, John Hunter, Springsteen, Utopia, Tim Finn and I reserve the right to change this list. I know I’ve forgotten something.

I forgot Zeppelin and Zappa. I'd also sneak Physical Graffiti and Apostrophe on there somehow.

Nice list,Larry.Love the fact that you managed to squeeze Murmur in.That's certaily one of the most special records ever recorded, the sublimation of what American music is all about.

Murmur would make the list if I could only bring in three. I hope you've read my feature on that album on the site. It contains some of my favorite experience stories! http://www.coolalbumoftheday.com/?p=916

Put down the pipe Stephen. If it weren't for Murmur, those albums don't see the light of day. Those are all very good albums, but Murmur just had something that made it 'special.' Nothing ever sounded like that before. It set a tone for a whole new genre.
